Turin-Padova railway line
The group of enterprises, led by Ansaldo STS, of which Coopsette is a principal leader, was awarded the design and execution of a technological upgrading of the Turin-Padova railway line. The contract involves supplying two command and multifunction/control systems to govern the traffic flow and the integrated diagnostics of the Torino-Padova line. The renewal of most of the signalling, station and line through four MCCA (Multi-station Central Control Apparatus) is expected: the Turin interchange, Chivasso-Novara line, Milan interchange, Novara-Rho line, Pioltello-Brescia line and Brescia-Padua line, which will should control the existing and new ACC plants, the AC plant (area control) and, through the EEC (electronic equipment controller), the recently built ACEI apparatus as well as the emergency stop lines.
The value of this work for Coopsette is 48 million Euros.
