Ponte dei Mille - Genoa
The temporary association formed by Coopsette and ICAM has created, inside the passenger port of Genoa, the new pier of Ponte Dei Mille that will be used to berth cruise ships and will be the most modern and biggest in the world. With its length of 340 metres and expansion of land mass in the surrounding area of about 6,800 m2, Ponte dei Mille has today become the most important cruise terminal in Europe. The project was completed in September 2011, 6 months ahead of the scheduled contractual deadline, thanks also to the use of concrete caisson technology and the use of Coopsette’s Spartacus floating dock. This project is valued at approximately 13,000,000 Euros.
