High Speed Railway Junction - Bologna

The new infrastructure, valued at over 130 million Euros, has involved the construction of entrance tunnels to the high-speed underground station, and the tunnels of the future HS Bologna-Venice line.
The galleries represent the most important element of the project, partly constructed with open tunnels, but mainly with the blind-hole excavation technique. In addition to the above, the construction of railway infrastructures and the laying of electrical lines along the historic aboveground tracks, as well as the construction of road works and noise barriers are included in the contract agreement.
